Packaging as a Passion
In Graphic design, there is nothing more fulfilling than to see your products on shelf at retail. My personal passion has been to translate flat artwork into three dimensions. Creating a package that is both functional and compelling in a retail setting is what drives my passion for packaging design. Working as and leading teams of designers, printers and structural engineers is as rewarding a discipline as I can imagine. Creating CPG products from blue sky concepts, to prototypes and finally actual production is what I do.

Swell / Philadelphia Chewing Gum
I created the classic Cry Baby Brand architechture back in 1991.
The color I chose, PMS 375 green, became the defacto standard for the sour category ever since. The Cry Baby kid is still selling today under the Dubble Bubble brand.
Classic bubble gum cigars were also under my watch right up to the 2000 election.
Many additional classic brands were created with Swell. I did the package design and candy press tooling as well as character illustrations.
